Our first foray into Google Classroom this term was to complete a survey about what students already knew about Japan or China. The students needed to choose which country they would like to learn more about before completing this survey. Once this choice was made, the students chose their relevant survey. This was done via a Google Form .Below is a small snapshot of some of the responses.
At the end of the term, we will redo this survey and see if any answers can be elaborated on or even changed.

As an extension to this project, to start off the year, we have been concentrating on the positives in all of us - our features, our likes, our personalities and traits. I asked the students to think of 10 words that they would use to describe themselves and using their portrait along with these 10 words and Wordfoto app , they created a new digital piece of art. They turned out beautiful! Here is a small selection of their work.
