To ignite the creative spark in my students today we went out into the Reading Garden and blew some bubbles. The students were tasked with forming a group of 2 or 3, blowing bubbles, taking photos and videos that captured their exclamations that could then be used in their poems.
They then went back into the classroom and sorted through their photos and videos and then worked together on their poems.
Once they had their draft they needed to put all into their Explain Everything app. Some decided to play with the photo apps on their iPad to have photos that encapsulated what they wanted their bubbles to be like.
The poems are still being written, so hopefully they will be here tomorrow.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work and we pay our respects to the Elders both past and present.
